Cookies
Our Privacy Policy explains our principles when it comes to the collection, processing, and storage of your information. This Cookie Policy specifically explains how we, our partners, and users of our services deploy cookies, as well as the options you have to control them.
We reserve the right to revise or modify this Cookie Policy at any time and in any way. If you have any questions about this Policy you can email us at [email protected].
What are cookies?
Cookies are small pieces of data stored in text files that are stored on your computer or other device when websites are loaded in a browser. Cookies in no way cause harm to the user's computers or the files kept on them. They are widely used to "remember" you and your preferences, either for a single visit (through a "session cookie") or for multiple repeat visits (using a "persistent cookie"). They ensure a consistent and efficient experience for visitors, and perform essential functions such as allowing users to register and remain logged in. Cookies may be set by the site that you are visiting (known as "first party cookies"), or by third parties, such as those who serve content or provide advertising or analytics services on the website ("third party cookies").
Your prior consent is necessary to use cookies. An exception to this rule will be only cookies that serve our platform's operational needs (operational cookies) and are necessary for its display and efficient operation. By accepting the Terms of Services of our platform and the Privacy Policy it is deemed that you have consented to the use of cookies, as above.
Why do we use Cookies?
For safe browsing on our platform, Revitepro complies with the European Directive 2002/58/EC on the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector, as amended by Directive 2009/136/EC. We use some cookies that are necessary to improve and customize our Services and your experience; to allow you to access and use the Services without re-entering your username or password; to understand the usage of our Services. The use of these cookies is essential for the website to work, and we do not use these cookies to collect personal information about you.
We use functional cookies to remember the choices you've made on the information you've provided, such as your language. This allows us to tailor your website experience specifically to your preferences.
We use performance cookies to collect information about how you interact with our website. These cookies only gather information for statistical purposes and do not gather any information that can personally identify you. However, because these cookies are not strictly necessary for the use of our website, we require your consent to use them. The performance cookies we use include first party analytics cookies to estimate the number of unique visitors and to improve our website.
For statistical purposes, we may use Google Analytics cookies to help us understand how visitors arrive at and browse our website to identify areas for improvement such as navigation, user experience, and marketing campaigns. The data collected is processed in a non-personally-identifying form (anonymizeIp - IP Anonymization). Google Inc. discloses this information only to third parties to the extent required by law. To opt-out of Google Analytics visit Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
What Cookies do we use?
When visitors load our Website, we generally place cookies required for the platform to function, including a cookie which is generated by our website when the user logs in to our platform by filling in his/her username and password that are temporarily stored in the user's browser. An identification key is stored which by default identifies the user and allows him/her to remain logged in without asking again to fill in his/her username and password. This cookie remains in the user's browser for a month (in particular 30 days) and after one month the browser automatically deletes it.
1. Strictly necessary cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for the proper operation of the website, navigation on the site and the use of its functions, such as access to secure areas. For these, the law does not require the prior consent of the visitor/user. Cookies in this category cannot be disabled. If you set your browser to block the use of these cookies, the website or certain parts of it may not work.
In particular, such cookies include:
- Cookies necessary for recognizing and/or retaining content entered by the subscriber or user during a session on a webpage throughout that specific session (for example, cookies necessary when completing an electronic form). This category also includes "persistent" cookies installed for the same purpose and lasting for a period of a few hours.
- Cookies necessary for authenticating the subscriber or user for services that require authentication.
- Cookies installed for the security of the subscriber or user, such as cookies that detect repeated failed login attempts to a user's account on a specific webpage.
- Cookies with multimedia content, such as flash player cookies, during a session on a webpage (for example, cookies installed when a video is played on the page visited by the user).
- Cookies necessary for load balancing on a connection to an internet webpage.
- Cookies installed via plug-ins on social networking websites and relating to content sharing among authenticated members who have already logged in.
| Cookie name | Description – Purpose | Provider | Duration |

| Session / authentication cookies | Used to keep users logged in to website services and to maintain a secure session. | Website | Session / up to 30 days |
2. Functionality cookies
We use functionality cookies that help our website "remember" your choices related to the presentation of the webpage (e.g. cookies related to language selection or the presentation of search results on a webpage) and provide enhanced features. Your consent is a necessary prerequisite.
| Cookie name | Description – Purpose | Provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Locale / language preference | Remembers the language or locale selected by the user. | Website | Session / persistent |
| cookie_preferences (functional) | Used to record and honour the user's consent choices for optional cookie categories. | Website | 1 year |
3. Traffic management cookies
We use traffic management cookies to detect technical problems that may arise during your browsing. Based on the information collected by these cookies, technical errors and problems are corrected and our website responds more accurately to your personal needs.
4. Performance cookies
We use performance cookies, which collect information about how you use the website, such as which pages you visit most often and for how long and whether you receive error messages, as well as to estimate the number of visitors to our website, the sequence in which you visit the various pages of the site, the evaluation of the parts of the site that need improvement and generally its optimization. The information collected is aggregated and used only to improve the performance of the website and is not linked to individual natural persons. Your consent is required for their installation.
Performance cookies we may use include:
- First-party advertising cookies (online advertising) for sending targeted advertising and offers that better match you and your interests, and for measuring the effectiveness of an advertising campaign. Your consent is required for their installation.
- Third-party cookies, such as Google Analytics cookies, for statistical analysis (web analytics), helping us analyse pages and interactions between them, identify areas of the website that need improvement (such as navigation), estimate the number of our visitors and improve the user experience. They are installed only after your consent and may collect browser agent data, a unique identifier, country and IP address (processed with IP anonymization where applicable).
Because our website may use third-party services (e.g. Google Analytics, or content from external providers such as Facebook or Twitter), which place their own cookies, in order to display such content you must first accept the terms and conditions set by those providers, including their own cookie policy, which is outside our control.
| Cookie name | Description – Purpose | Provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga / _gid (and similar) | Used by Google Analytics to distinguish users and sessions for aggregated website analytics. | Up to 2 years / 24 hours | |
| Advertising / social cookies | May be set by advertising or social platforms when related content or widgets are loaded, subject to your consent. | Third party | Varies by provider |
Managing / controlling cookies
It is not possible to disable "necessary" cookies, as they are required for the proper functioning of the website. By default, optional cookies are disabled until you give consent.
Use the cookie banner to manage your preferences. Open cookie settings to modify your choices regarding the use of cookies. You may at any time withdraw your consent, review or delete non-strictly necessary cookies from the computer or device you use.
You can also delete all cookies already on your device by clearing your browser's browsing history. This will delete all cookies from all websites you visited with that browser. Please note that some stored data may also be lost (e.g. login details, website preferences).
You can also set your browser so that it does not allow cookies in any case. In that case, each site may ask you to configure your preferences every time you visit, i.e. you will need to approve or reject storage requests each time, and complete disabling of cookies may lead to functional limitations of the website during login and browsing.
You may also install one of the cookie management add-ons or plug-ins available for your browser, so that you have greater control over when cookies are installed.
To manage and disable cookies, you can follow the relevant instructions for each browser type: Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, Opera.
More information on how to control and/or delete cookies according to your wishes can be found here: European Commission – Cookies and aboutcookies.org.
How to delete Cookies from your browser
You can set your web browser in such a way that cookies are generally prevented from being saved to your device and/or that you are asked each time whether you are in agreement with cookies being enabled. You can at any time delete cookies that have been enabled again. You can find out how all this works in detail via your browser's help function. Please note that generally deactivating cookies may lead to functional restrictions on our Website.
More information on how to modify your browser settings or how to block, manage, or filter cookies can be found in your browser's help file or through such sites as www.allaboutcookies.org.
